David Bradt has 39 years of experience in tax practice. He has extensive experience providing investment consulting, tax planning, financial planning, family wealth planning and tax-reporting services to high net worth individuals, family offices, corporate executives and family business owners.
David serves as chairman of Andersen Tax’s Investment Committee and leader of the firm’s Investment Consulting Services Practice. For 28 years before joining Andersen Tax, David was with Arthur Andersen where he led the firm’s Investment Advisory Services Practice as well as the Private Client Services Practice for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
David is a frequent speaker at business and professional conferences and seminars and has served as a member of the Personal Financial Planning Executive Committee of the American Institute of CPAs. Recognized again by Worth magazine as one of the 250 Best Financial Advisers, he has published articles on investment, business and family tax issues and has been quoted in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The National Law Journal, The Washington Business Journal, Nations Business, Small Business News, and other publications. David has appeared on CNN, Good Morning America, and other broadcast media.
David is a member of several local business organizations, including having served as Chair of the Board of the American University Family Business Forum and as a Board member and Chair of Greater D.C. Cares. He is a member of the Board of Venture Philanthropy Partners, a volunteer and dinner chair for Share Our Strength, and a graduate of Leadership Washington. He has served as Chairman of the Board of The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region David was recognized with the 2013 Business Journal Outstanding Director Award for his community service.
