Randy Macpherson, Office Managing Director of Andersen’s Florida practice, has advised clients regarding tax and financial matters since 1989. He served on the Board of Directors of Andersen from 2003 to 2012 and as the national Client Group Leader for the Private Client Services practice from 2009 to 2013. He serves clients and is a firmwide technical resource on tax issues with significance to ultra-high net worth families. His practice areas include:

Before joining Andersen, Randy was a Tax Partner at Arthur Andersen, responsible for the Private Client Services Practice in South Florida. Randy has advised some of the wealthiest families and largest privately held businesses in the Southeast. His broad experience enables him to effectively integrate income tax planning for privately held businesses with income tax and wealth-transfer planning for the owners.

Randy has written several articles and presented to groups including the Family Office Exchange, Institute for Private Investors, Institutional Investor, Southeast Family Office Forum and the Florida Family Office Forum. Randy is a Personal Financial Specialist, as designated by the American Institute of CPAs. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Planned Giving Councils for Norton Museum and Place of Hope, and on the Professional Advisory Board of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
