Andersen Announces the Promotion of Eight Managing Directors

Andersen, one of the largest independent tax firms in the world, announces the promotion of eight Managing Directors across several markets nationwide.

In the Los Angeles office, Tim Wylie was promoted to Managing Director in the Private Client Services Practice. Tim has over 15 years of experience advising high net worth individuals and their related businesses, trusts, foundations, and other entities. He provides income, estate and gift tax planning and compliance, and charitable giving strategies. The Boston office promoted Kellie Neuhaus. Kellie is part of the Private Client Services Practice group and will join the team of nine Managing Directors in the Boston office. She has nearly 16 years of experience in the industry, delivering tax and financial advisory services to high net worth individuals, their families and their related entities. The San Francisco office promoted two Managing Directors, Cathy Elchinoff and Hai Tang. Cathy and Hai are members of our recruiting and alternative investment funds teams, respectively. Cathy has over 27 years of experience in human resources and recruiting with professional services firms. She is responsible for leading our National Recruiting Team, which involves aligning hiring strategies with business plans. Hai has over 10 years of experience in professional tax and accounting services. He provides services in partnership, international and M&A tax planning and compliance. Hai advises alternative investment funds and their portfolio companies in structuring, transaction planning, Subpart F and PFIC planning. The Chicago office announced the promotion of Sean Bruen, Rosa DeLuna-Frede and Scott Deichmann. Sean Bruen has over 15 years of business experience and practices in the firm’s Corporate Tax Practice. Sean provides federal and state tax services for C Corps, S Corps and LLCs, including experience in accounting methods, accounting for income taxes, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Rosa De Luna-Frede has over 17 years of experience in advising publicly held and private companies on tax matters such as Accounting for Income Taxes, Accounting Methods, Federal and State Tax Compliance and tax audits. Rosa also focuses in the Mergers and Acquisition area, specifically on tax structuring, tax due diligence, and analyzing the tax treatment of transaction costs. Scott Deichmann has served clients throughout the country focusing on each family's unique wealth planning objectives and needs. He has over 20 years of tax, estate and wealth planning experience for ultra-high net worth individuals and families. In the Houston office, David Bollis, part of the Private Client Services group, was promoted to Managing Director. For over 13 years David has worked on providing comprehensive tax, financial, estate, and investment counseling services to high net worth individuals, businesses, athletes, entertainers, and entrepreneurial families.
