Cornelia Schnyder Joins Andersen Tax National Tax Office

Cornelia Schnyder joined Andersen Tax Washington, D.C. as a Managing Director in the firm’s National Tax Office. This is the fifth addition to the Andersen Tax National Tax Office in the past year.

Cornelia has over 17 years of experience focused on tax issues affecting partnerships and other passthrough entities and their owners.   

Prior to joining Andersen Tax, Cornelia held several positions with government.  Most recently, she served as Special Counsel to the Associate Chief Counsel (Passthroughs and Special Industries) at IRS Office of Chief Counsel. Cornelia also served as Attorney Advisor, Department of the Treasury, Office of Tax Policy. Previously, she practiced for 11 years with two Washington, D.C. law firms.

Cornelia received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Jacksonville University and a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She is a member of both the Florida and District of Columbia Bars.
