Daniel Kai Fischer Joins Andersen Tax & Legal in Germany
Andersen Tax & Legal in Germany is proud to announce the addition of Daniel Kai Fischer in the Cologne office as a Partner. Daniel is a tax specialist and will establish the Alternative Investment Funds Practice for Andersen Tax & Legal in Germany. Daniel’s work is focused on tax compliance and structuring for alternative investment funds taking into account German Investment Regulatory Law and German Insurance Supervision Law.
Daniel worked for more than 12 years in several positions in the fund industry and has significant expertise in tax structuring tailor-made solutions for inbound and outbound alternative investments, including:
- Real Estate
- Private Equity
- Renewable Energies and Infrastructure
- Debt Funds
- Other Alternative Investments
Prior to joining Andersen Tax & Legal, Daniel worked at KPMG as a Senior Manager, where he was focused on tax advice and tax structuring for institutional investors, asset managers as well as custodian banks. In addition, Daniel has worked on numerous alternative investment and real estate M&A deals and has been advising German and foreign alternative investment funds in all tax matters.
Before KPMG, Daniel worked in several positions in the fund and real estate industries and for PwC in Frankfurt and Singapore.
Daniel is a lawyer and certified tax advisor and received his Master of Law degree at Cologne University.
