Drucker & Kluemper to Present at STEP Conference
Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) is the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations. STEP’s primary focus is on professional development for practitioners in the fields of family inheritance and succession, helping people understand the issues families face in this area and promoting best practice, professional integrity and education to members.
Today STEP has over 19,000 members across 95 countries from a range of professions, including lawyers, accountants and other specialists. What connects members is that they all help families plan for their futures: from drafting a will or advising family businesses, to helping international families and protecting vulnerable family members.
Pam Drucker and Joe Kluemper will participate in STEP’s conference, Advanced Topics In International Estate and Income Tax Planning on November 13, 2014 in Los Angeles, CA. The program will open with remarks from Pam followed by two panels. The first, "Cross Border Trust Transformations: Planning and Compliance", includes Joe as a panelist. It is followed by a second panel titled "Outward Bound - Structuring Considerations for Closely Held Businesses Expanding Abroad".
Joe Kluemper has over 15 years of experience in income tax and family wealth planning for closely held business owners, senior executives and high net worth families. He assists clients with Foreign Bank Account Reporting, including filings as part of the IRS offshore voluntary disclosure program and the streamlined process.
Pam Drucker has over 14 years of experience advising clients on domestic and international tax matters. Her clients have included closely-held businesses, middle-market companies and high net worth individuals. Her practice covers a full-range of domestic and international transactions.
