Evolution of Family Offices: A Metcircle Networking and Benchmarking Luncheon

Metcircle is a networking organization founded in 1991 for ultra high net worth families. Based in New York City, the group has approximately 100 member families, located primarily in the New York metropolitan area but also in Florida, Illinois, Texas and around the world. Recently, Metcircle formed subgroups in Chicago, Los Angeles and Metcircle South in Washington, D.C.

On December 6, 2012, Metcircle will host it's first meeting in West Palm Beach. It will be an informal luncheon with Preston Tsao, founder of Metcircle Networking LLC, one of the oldest and largest family office networking organizations in the U.S. Preston will talk about the changes that he has seen in family offices over the 20 years that he has been running Metcircle. In particular, he will focus on the critical five years following the financial crisis. Preston will also discuss changes in return expectations, liquidity demands and risk appetite, attitudes toward alternatives in particular hedge funds and changes in family office structure. It will be an occasion for family offices to benchmark themselves with other families around the U.S.

These events are invite only and space is limited. If you are interested in attending please contact Megan O'Sullivan at megan.osullivan@wtas.com
