Freda Speaks on Interstate Tax Planning
Interstate Tax Corporation trains and updates state tax practitioners on how to properly navigate the interstate tax system. The company is dedicated to the education of multistate tax professionals in industry, consulting and government through four seminars held in the spring and fall of each year and its publication, Interstate Tax Insights.
Interstate Tax Planning takes place Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Washington, D.C. Ray Freda will present “How the Interstate Tax System Works/Jurisdiction and Nexus” covering the concepts, problems and planning opportunities involved primarily with state income taxation of multistate business including constitutional limitations on state powers to tax interstate business.
Raymond Freda has over 15 years of state and local tax experience in advising clients with respect to income/franchise, gross receipts, sales and use, property, employment, and other state industry-specific excise taxes. He represents corporate and individual clients during state tax audits, conciliation conferences, and other administrative proceedings.
