Freda to Present at Sales & Use Planning Conference
Interstate Tax Corporation trains and updates state tax practitioners on how to properly navigate the interstate tax system. The company is dedicated to the education of multistate tax professionals in industry, consulting and government through four seminars held in the spring and fall of each year and its publication, Interstate Tax Insights.
Sales & Use Planning takes place June 15-16, 2015 at the Courtyard Upper East Side in New York, NY. Ray Freda will present both “Ethics and Managing the Sales & Use Tax Function” and “Preparing for Audits and Litigation” on Tuesday June 16th. Ethics will cover structuring the sales and use tax function to maximize effectiveness while complying with personal ethical standards and those set by the AICPA, ABA, state CPA societies and bar associations. During Preparing for Audits, Ray will discuss how to handle a sales or use tax audit, from the arrival of the audit notice to the post-audit review.
