Hirschfeld Speaking at NYU Federal Real Estate and Partnerships Tax Conference

The NYU School of Professional Studies is hosting their annual Federal Real Estate and Partnerships Tax conference from June 28-29, 2018 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. Andersen Tax Managing Director, Michael Hirschfeld, will present at this conference on Friday, June 29. His presentation is titled “Planning for Cross-Border Real Estate Investment.” This presentation includes topics such as inbound and outbound investment, foreign investment in U.S. real estate, and real estate investment trusts (REITs).
Michael Hirschfeld is a Managing Director in the firm's US National Tax office, where he focuses on international, partnership, corporate and real estate tax planning and compliance. Michael has over 40 years of experience with tax issues that affect partnerships/LLCs, REITs, cross-border investing, real estate acquisition, finance and investment, private equity, distressed debt, mergers and acquisitions, pharmaceutical, energy, and clean technology clients.
The Federal Real Estate and Partnerships Tax conference will explore the impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on real estate and partnership structures. It will also include discussion on the latest developments, recent legislation, cases and rulings affecting real estate and partnership transactions.
