Hough and Culhane to Present at the Cambridge Innovation Center
WTAS Managing Directors, Mike Hough and Ed Culhane, will present a lunch and learn open house entitled Income Tax Issues for Early Stage Companies. The event will take place at 12pm EST on February 29, 2012 in the Havana conference room on the fifth floor of the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC).
The open forum will answer key income tax questions frequently asked by entrepreneurs about their companies, stocks and options. Topics will include personal income taxes on restricted stock and options, income associated with vesting, and entity structure and taxation.
With tax filing deadlines around the corner, the talk will also touch on some key compliance topics for early stage companies.
Ed Culhane has over 22 years of experience in delivering tax services to corporate enterprises primarily in the technology industry. He has extensive knowledge in advising startup, venture-backed, high technology companies from the initial funding to the evaluation of appropriate exit strategies.
Mike Hough has over 11 years of experience serving a wide variety of individual clients at every stage of business development and is experienced in navigating sales of closely-held companies, planning for stock-based compensation events, and structuring family wealth transfers that efficiently manage income and transfer taxes.
This event is open to members of the Cambridge Innovation Center and their guests. It marks the opening of a WTAS satellite office in the Cambridge Innovation Center.
