Hough to Speak on Pre-Liquidity Planning
Michael Hough will co-teach Pre-Liquidity Planning for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. The course covers what attorneys should know when representing a client who wishes to buy or sell a business including the complicated tax, compliance, and valuation issues that need to be addressed. In addition, there are pitfalls to avoid which careful advance planning can prevent as well as compensation issues, estate planning questions, and charitable planning options to explore.
The course will take place in-person at the MCLE Conference Center in Waltham, MA on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 9AM – 12PM. Additional viewing options include a simultaneous live webcast and a recorded, on-demand webcast.
Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc (MCLE) is the Massachusetts legal community's premier provider of hands on programs and practical reference materials. Conceived as a committee of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA), MCLE was incorporated in 1969 as a joint venture of the MBA and the Boston Bar Association (BBA). In 1976, MCLE merged with the New England Law Institute, gaining a history of CLE dating from 1953.
