Marc Lim Joins San Francisco as Managing Director

Marc Lim will join WTAS as a Managing Director in the Commercial and Alternative Investment Funds Practices in the San Francisco office. Prior to joining WTAS, Marc spent nine years as a tax practitioner in Japan and was a Partner at Zeirishi-Hojin PricewaterhouseCoopers in Tokyo. A Bay Area native, Marc spent six years prior to Tokyo servicing technology clients as an international tax practitioner at both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen in San Jose, California. 

Marc has more than 15 years of experience in international tax consulting to multinational corporate and financial services clients. His practice area focuses on providing international and Japan tax consulting services to multinational and Japanese clients, focusing in particular on multinational structuring for U.S. and Japanese multinationals. Marc serves a broad range of clients with particular focus on the private equity, real estate, and insurance industries.

Marc received his Bachelor of Arts from the College of William and Mary and was a graduate student at the University of Kanazawa, Japan. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law. While in Japan, he served as the co-chair of the Tax Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
