Nager to Speak at 6th Annual Family Office Educational Forum & Roundtable

The 6th Annual Family Office Educational Forum & Roundtable will take place Thursday, June 5th from 11:00AM to 7:00PM at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Hosted by Lido Consulting, the a full day, invitation only conference that will consist of two half hour investment presentations about ways that family offices and high net worth investors can take advantage of opportunities in today’s volatile investment markets. There will be an economic outlook and four lunch workshops covering cloud investing, next generation preparation and a real estate outlook. The conference concludes with Greg Kushner, Founder of Lido Consulting, moderating a panel of experts involved in the ultra high net worth arena.

WTAS Managing Directors, Ross Nager and Bill Amon will take part in the final panel to discuss advanced planning for the Family Office, that will present sophisticated multi-generational planning techniques and strategies for ultra-high net worth families wishing to further reduce their transfer tax burdens aligning with short and longer term family objectives. 

Ross Nager has over 35 years of experience in family wealth planning and family business consulting, working extensively in planning for ultra high net worth families and closely-held businesses in numerous industries. His direct involvement in resolving succession and other dynamic issues unique to family owned businesses has resulted in him being quoted in national publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Fortune, Forbes, Family Business, Business Week and Nation’s Business. Ross is also a member of the firm’s National Tax Office, responsible for technical competence and training in estate, gift, trust and generation-skipping taxation. He serves as a resource to firm personnel in serving clients and prospective clients.

Bill Amon, the Office Managing Director of WTAS’ Los Angeles office, has over 30 years of experience in corporate and international taxation. He advises corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies on a broad variety of business and tax matters including mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property planning, and restructuring planning. He has extensive experience in serving clients in many industries, with an emphasis on high technology, media & entertainment, aerospace and healthcare.
