NYU School of Professional Studies presents the Institute on Federal Taxation, which offers a series addressing all major areas of taxation, giving attendees an in-depth understanding of the key issues affecting their clients or business and presenting planning ideas that can immediately be used in practice. The Institute on Federal Taxation designed for the practitioner who must frequently anticipate and handle federal tax matters.
The 76th Institute on Federal Taxation conference takes place at the Grand Hyatt in New York, NY from October 22-27, 2017. Len Schneidman, Andersen Tax Managing Director, will be speaking on October 23, 2017 on “Coming to America: U.S. Tax Planning for Foreign-Owned U.S. Operations.” His presentation outlines the key tax issues relating to the organization, operation, repatriation of profits, and exit of a foreign-owned U.S. business.
Len Schneidman has over 40 years of experience in international taxation. His work includes counseling clients on structuring and operation of private investment funds, advising high net worth foreign investors on U.S. investments and activities, helping U.S. and non-U.S. corporate clients with tax-efficient structuring of their business operations, and advising clients on the reporting of undisclosed income and/or foreign financial assets from offshore accounts through the IRS Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program (OVDP) or Streamlined Filing Compliance Procedures, and Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR).
