Schneidman to Speak at International Taxation Conference
Any practitioner working in the area of international taxation needs to understand the basic compliance tools when reporting on his or her clients’ international operations. The International Taxation Conference will provide a review of the various issues that affect today’s U.S. and global taxpayer, and the tools needed to effectively manage these clients. The event takes place Thursday, January 29, 2015 in person at the Citi Executive Conference Center in New York City and via live video webcasting.
Len Schneidman will be presenting a Primer on Cross-border Licensing. Attendees will explore the various U.S. tax issues relating to the cross-border licensing of intellectual property, including the character and source of licensing income, the provisions of the software regulations, the application of Section 367(d), the impact of Subpart F, and the potential effects of U.S. income tax treaties.
Len has over 40 years of experience in international taxation. His work includes counseling clients on structuring and operation of private investment funds, advising high net worth foreign investors on U.S. investments and activities, and helping U.S. and non-U.S. corporate clients with tax-efficient structuring of their business operations.
