COST 2015 Sales Tax Conference takes place February 24, 2015 at the Loews Portofino Bay at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Jim Tauber will discuss nontraditional means of barter using bitcoins instead of the greenback. This will be followed by an examination of the sales tax implications for accepting and using bitcoins as payment for products/services including: (1) incidence of taxability; (2) sourcing, and (3) creation and retention of records.
