Thomas to Speak at TEI
Tax Executives Institute (TEI) is the preeminent association of in-house business tax professionals worldwide. Members are business executives who are responsible for taxation matters on an administrative or policy-making level, or whose work is otherwise primarily concerned with the challenges of business taxation. TEI members are accountants, lawyers, and other corporate and business employees who are responsible for the tax affairs of their employers in an executive, administrative, or managerial capacity.
Scott Thomas will speak at TEI’s New England Chapter May Meeting on May 17, 2013. His talk, The Future of Multistate Corporate Income Tax Planning, begins at 3:30PM.
Scott Thomas has over 22 years of experience in delivering tax services to corporate enterprises. As a member of WTAS’ State and Local Tax Group, Scott’s practice specializes on minimizing multistate corporate tax liabilities and limiting corporate tax exposures. He also helps clients resolve controversies with state and local tax authorities. While he now focuses primarily on income and franchise taxes, Scott previously led an employment tax practice and has managed restructuring engagements in the areas of property tax and sales/use tax.
