Trumbull and Zemsky to Speak at TEI Tax Education Day
Tax Executives Institute (TEI) is the preeminent association of in-house tax professionals worldwide. Members are business executives who are responsible for taxation matters on an administrative or policy-making level, or whose work is otherwise primarily concerned with the challenges of business taxation. TEI members are accountants, lawyers, and other corporate and business employees who are responsible for the tax affairs of their employers in an executive, administrative, or managerial capacity.
Wayne Trumbull and Ken Zemsky are speaking May 14, 2015 at the Westchester-Fairfield Chapter’s annual Tax Education Day taking place in Darrien, CT. They will cover State & Local taxes - particularly recent developments with New York State and City.
Kenneth Zemsky specializes in multistate corporate and personal income taxes with a concentration in New York State and New York City tax law. He has over 33 years of experience and primarily works with multistate corporate taxpayers with presence in the tri-state area, high net worth individuals, alternative investment funds and owner- operated businesses.
Wayne Trumbull has over 15 years of tax experience all focused on advising clients with respect to complex state income and sales and use tax matters. His primary focus is serving middle market companies in the areas of tax compliance, tax planning and structuring, tax controversy, voluntary disclosure initiatives and impact of acquisitions, dispositions and changes in state tax laws on his client’s state effective tax rate. Wayne also specializes in the state tax side of ASC 740 accounting for income taxes, including identifying and resolving uncertain tax positions (FIN 48) and FAS 5 concerns. He has extensive experience advising on sales and use tax systems, compliance and taxability of products and services.
