WTAS Recognized by NABCAP as Premier Advisor
McLean, VA, September 16, 2011 – WTAS’ McLean Investment Consulting Services (ICS) team has been recognized by the National Association of Board Certified Advisory Practices (NABCAP) as a Premier Advisor team in the greater Washington, D.C. area. This distinction, published September 16 in the Washington Business Journal, places WTAS among the top wealth management practices in the area based on NABCAP’s objective selection process.
The designation is awarded annually by NABCAP, the first non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to create an independent, discerning process to help identify the top quality advisory practices in order to better serve the investing community. NABCAP assesses 20 categories of practice management which include areas such as client service, risk/investment planning philosophy, credentials/designations, team dynamics, fee/cost structure, and average AUM per client among other areas.
“We are honored by the NABCAP recognition, as it bolsters our belief that our model of holistic wealth management and objective advice indeed serves our clients’ best interests,” said David M. Bradt, WTAS’ McLean Office Managing Director and leader of WTAS’ ICS practice.
The McLean ICS team consists of Mr. Bradt, Brian Ullsperger, Keegan Stroup, Mary McCormick, Trevor Hancock and Eric Sanders. On a firm wide level, WTAS’ combined ICS practices in McLean, Boston, New York, and West Palm Beach have also recently been ranked in the Top 75 in both AdvisorOne (f/k/a Wealth Manager) Magazine and Financial Advisor Magazine.
