Andersen Tax to Participate in IRS Valuation Summit 2014
The Appraisal Institute is a global association of real estate appraisers, with nearly 23,000 valuation professionals in almost 60 countries throughout the world. Its mission is to advance professionalism and ethics, global standards, methodologies, and practices through the professional development of property economics worldwide. In 2010, the Southern California of the Appraisal Institute (SCCAI) held the inaugural IRS Valuation Summit for appraisers in Los Angeles drawing rave reviews from all who attended; the event has grown in size and popularity every year since.
This year, the IRS Valuation Summit 2014 has moved to D.C. and will take place on October 21, 2014 at the Grand Hyatt Washington. The program covers a wide range of topics related to tax and valuation including recent court cases, IRS insight and the current regulatory environment.
Eric Garfield will moderate a session titled “Current Outlook on Tax Legislation and Regulation,” which also includes Andersen Tax National Tax Office Managing Director Ross Nager as a panelist.
David Bradt is a panelist on a session titled “Conservation Easements - Issues and Answers & Non-Cash Charitable Donations of Real Estate.”
