Andersen Presenting at TEI’s 72nd Annual Conference
Tax Executives Institute (TEI) is the preeminent association of in-house tax professionals worldwide. Members are business executives who are responsible for taxation matters on an administrative or policy-making level, or whose work is otherwise primarily concerned with the challenges of business taxation. TEI members are accountants, lawyers, and other corporate and business employees who are responsible for the tax affairs of their employers in an executive, administrative, or managerial capacity.
TEI’s 72nd Annual Conference will be held on October 23-25, 2017 at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Francesco Marconi, Managing Director from Andersen Tax & Legal in Italy, Simon Davari, Partner from SdM, a collaborating firm of Andersen Global, and Jeff Malo, Managing Director in U.S. National Tax, will present. Francesco is presenting on Tuesday, October 24th from 3:00pm – 4:00pm on the topic of “International Perspectives on Resolving VAT Disputes.” Simon and Jeff's presentation is titled “Negotiating for U.S. State Economic and Development Incentives” and will take place on Tuesday, October 24th from 4:30pm – 5:30pm.
Francesco has 15 years of progressive experience in providing quality international corporate tax advising to national and international SMEs and corporations. His experience includes fiscal assistance to multinational based companies, coordinating services (accounting, tax and legal) and keeping contacts with US and EMEA headquarters.
Simon Davari is a tax professional specializing in international tax and treasury matters, providing implementation and strategies for global expansion of Canadian entities and foreign entities establishing their business in Canada.
Jeff Malo focuses on federal and state research credits. He has over 15 years of experience in both tax and government service.
