Andersen to Present ASC 740 Perspectives for Year End

Bloomberg BNA | CITE, was formed to educate U.S. and foreign multinationals and companies engaged in international business on the tax, legal and accounting aspects of doing business overseas. Seminar speakers are experts in internal taxation and finance fields and the participants include a broad range of corporate multinational companies. 

Dean Feria, Ellen MacNeil, Dennis Minich, and Peter Crocco will all speak at BNA’s ASC 740 Perspectives for Year End: Accounting for Income Tax. The seminar takes place November 30, 2015 through December 1, 2015 in New York City. Sessions will cover effective tax rate forecasting and interim reporting, financial disclosure issues involving derivatives and financial products and tax accounting issues affecting intangibles, including goodwill, and impact on the income tax provision.

Dean Feria has over 20 years of experience in providing valuation services to corporate enterprises, high net worth individuals and private equity funds. He participates in valuation engagements for financial statement reporting, tax planning and compliance, litigation, mergers, strategic planning and restructuring.

Ellen MacNeil is the Managing Director of US National Tax for Andersen. She has over 30 years of experience in tax consulting for major U.S. businesses. Prior to joining Andersen she was a partner with Deloitte and with Arthur Andersen in their national tax practices.

Dennis Minich has over 38 years of tax experience and is part of US National Tax for Andersen. Dennis specializes in compensation and employee benefit issues, primarily relating to qualified retirement plans, nonqualified plans, employee health and welfare benefits and executive compensation. He serves companies in a wide variety of industries.

Peter Crocco, Managing Director in Andersen’s Long Island office, has over 18 years of tax experience, primarily focused on accounting for income taxes under ASC 740, tax controversy matters including IRS audit representation, tax compliance and transaction advisory. He currently manages the tax function for several publicly traded clients including tax reporting, tax compliance, strategic planning and mergers & acquisitions.
