Andersen Welcomes Managing Director, Associate Counsel Oscar Alcantara

Andersen announces Oscar Alcantara as Managing Director, Associate Counsel in the Firm’s Chicago-based Legal Department. He will be assisting with the Firm’s international matters and with intellectual property matters associated with the brand globally.

Oscar has over 23 years of experience. His specialty is intellectual property law, specifically trademark, copyright, right of publicity and advertising law.

Prior to Andersen, Oscar was the Chair of the Intellectual Property Group at Goldberg Kohn Ltd., where he worked as outside trademark counsel, and was responsible for worldwide trademark portfolios of other large, international brands. Oscar also counseled clients on branding, copyright issues, advertising and domain names.

Oscar received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School.
