Bernard to Speak at TMANE Annual Conference
Andrew Bernard will speak during the treasury track at the Treasury Management Association of New England’s 28th Annual Sources of Education Conference, May 15th at the Boston Marriott-Copley Place.
This track, designed exclusively for senior level treasury practitioners, has been very well received since it was introduced three years ago. The discussions focus on strategic and current high-impact issues in a setting encouraging candid dialogue between the panelists, practitioners and audience.
Andrew’s presentation, titled The Intersection of Tax and Treasury: Selected Practical Implications will take place on Wednesday, May 15th from 9:00-10:15AM and discuss how the tax and treasury department can work together collaboratively to ensure smooth business relations both internationally and domestically. Particular topics that will be covered on the operational side include the tax implications of moving cash abroad and nationally as both the payor and receiver. The presentation will also discuss issues that can arise with changes or proposed changes in entity structure such as mergers & acquisitions, liquidations or the creation of a new company.
