Duffy and Gill Presenting at ACS Conference in Boston

Accounting Conferences & Seminars LLC (ACS) is an organization devoted to increasing the knowledge of CPAs in the industry and public accounting. 

The ACS is hosting their Revenue Recognition Accounting Update conference this year on April 19-20, 2018 at the Courtyard Downtown in Boston, Massachusetts. In this conference, attendees will learn about latest changes in key areas, understand the big picture concepts from an SEC perspective and begin to assess the effects of the new standard on their company and/or clients. Andersen Managing Directors Mary Duffy and Joe Gill will be presenters at the event.

Mary Duffy is a Managing Director in Andersen’s US National Tax office and is the co-leader of Andersen’s accounting methods team. Mary also advises clients on tax policy and legislative matters and is a frequent speaker for Tax Executive Institute, BNA seminars, Andersen’s Family Office Roundtables and other events. 

Joseph Gill is a Managing Director in the Andersen US National Tax office, where he focuses on the taxation of financial instruments. Joe has over 15 years of experience in tax matters impacting the financial services industry. He has advised a number of foreign and domestic entities on a variety of tax issues in the areas of planning, tax accounting and financial reporting and compliance.

ACS offers programs that are designed to qualify for continuing education credits in all 50 U.S. states and comply with the Joint NASBA/AICPA Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs. These conferences and seminars are offered in major cities throughout the United States. Live training and live webcasts are also offered for those who cannot be there in person.
