Feria, Freeman and Minich to Speak on Accounting for Income Taxes
Bloomberg BNA will hold a two-day course on Current Issues in Accounting for Income Taxes on December 9 and 10, 2013, at Bloomberg LP in New York, NY. This advanced technical update will explain key tax accounting issues facing tax practitioners in preparing the 2013 global corporate tax provision under ASC 740.
Dean Feria of West Palm Beach, and David Freeman and Dennis Minich of Chicago, will be part of the live group instruction. Dean will be speaking on The Growing Role of Valuation in Financial Statements; David’s session will focus on Reducing the U.S. Tax Rate on Domestic Production Activities; and Dennis will wrap up the course with his session on Compensation Issues.
Dean Feria has over 17 years of experience in providing valuation services to corporate enterprises, high net worth individuals and private equity funds. As leader of WTAS’ Florida Valuation Practice, he participates in valuation engagements for financial statement reporting, tax planning and compliance, litigation, mergers, strategic planning and restructuring.
Davd Freeman has over 27 years of experience providing tax planning advice to both publicly held and private businesses, their owners, and their key executives. He is a member of the Commercial and Alternative Investment practices at WTAS.
Dennis Minich has over 35 years of tax experience. Dennis specializes in compensation and employee benefit issues, primarily relating to qualified retirement plans, nonqualified plans, employee health and welfare benefits and executive compensation.
