Freda Added to Sales & Use Tax Planning Presenters

Interstate Tax Corporation trains and updates state tax practitioners on how to properly navigate the interstate tax system. The company is dedicated to the education of multistate tax professionals in industry, consulting and government through four seminars held in the spring and fall of each year and its publication, Interstate Tax Insights.

Sales & Use Tax Planning takes place Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Courtyard Marriott Upper East Side in New York, NY. Raymond Freda will lead two sessions: “Ethics and Managing the Sales & Use Tax Function” and “Preparing for Audits and Litigation”. During Ethics, Ray will discuss complying with personal ethical standards and those set by the AICPA, ABA, local state CPA societies and bar associations. Audits and Litigation will incorporate thoughts on how to handle a sales or use tax audit, from the arrival of the audit notice to the post-audit review.

Raymond Freda has over 18 years of experience in state and local tax and advising clients with respect to income/franchise, capital, gross receipts, sales and use, property, employment and other state industry specific excise taxes.
