Hawthorne to Present in Switzerland
WTAS Global and Sharp Partners, P.A. are co-presenting Everything You Wanted to Know About US Citizenship and Green Card Holders - Immigration, Tax Planning and Tax Compliance for a Swiss audience at the Savoy Baur en Ville in Zurich, Switzerland on April 7th and the Hotel President Wilson in Geneva on April 8th.
WTAS panelist Aaron Hawthorne along with Alan W. Granwell, Steve Trow and moderator William M. Sharp, Sr. will brief attendees on the US immigration, tax planning and tax compliance aspects pertaining to inadvertent U.S. citizenship, expatriation, green cards and the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program.
Aaron Hawthorne has over 16 years of experience in the tax industry. His primary areas of expertise include family wealth planning, and cross-border compliance and planning, advising successful individuals and families on complex financial issues to protect and grow their wealth. In consideration of different family dynamics, Aaron works closely with families in order to help identify their goals and guidelines with particular assets and investments. In addition, he focuses on planning and compliance for non-U.S. individuals from pre-immigration through preparing for expatriation. Aaron also works with U.S. taxpayers residing overseas, inbound U.S. investments and planning for multijurisdictional families with U.S. connections.
WTAS’ international presence launched in June of 2013, when WTAS Global was established by member firm WTAS LLC. Since the firm has expanded in Europe with Paris-based STC Partners and an additional office in Geneva, Switzerland.
