Hirschfeld and MacNeil Presenting at TEI Region VIII Conference in South Carolina

Tax Executives Institute (TEI) is the preeminent association for in-house tax professionals worldwide. The TEI Region VIII annual conference will take place June 6-10, 2018 at the Westin Resort in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Andersen Managing Directors, Michael Hirschfeld and Ellen MacNeil, will lead two separate presentations at the conference. Michael will present on an "Update on Partnerships in Light of Tax Reform" on Friday, June 8 from 11:35am-12:25pm. Ellen will present on "Accounting Methods, Changes and Opportunities" on Saturday, June 9 from 8:15am-9:05am. Other topics at this conference include corporate transactions and planning opportunities, tax technology, IRS updates, and accounting for income taxes. 

Michael Hirschfeld is a Managing Director in the firm's US National Tax office, where he focuses on international, partnership, corporate and real estate tax planning and compliance. Michael has over 40 years of experience with tax issues that affect partnerships/LLCs, REITs, cross-border investing, real estate acquisition, finance and investment, private equity, distressed debt, mergers and acquisitions, pharmaceutical, energy, and clean technology clients.

Ellen MacNeil is the Managing Director of US National Tax for Andersen and is a member of the Board of Directors of Andersen Global. She has over 30 years of experience in tax consulting for major U.S. businesses. Prior to joining Andersen, she was a Partner with Deloitte and with Arthur Andersen in their national tax practices.
