MacNeil to Speak at Oil and Gas Tax Conference
The Parker C. Fielder Oil and Gas Tax Conference is part of the University of Texas Law School CLE Programming.
Ellen MacNeil will take part in two panels. Capital Cost Recovery, Part I: Expenses, Credits and Section 199 where participants will discuss geological & geophysical expenses, Intangible Drilling Costs, production payments with coverage of special credits, R&D, and Section 199 deductions and expense allocation issues. Ellen will also panel, with five others, Capital Cost Recovery, Part II: Tangible Assets and Environmental Remediation.
The conference is scheduled to take place November 21-22, 2013 at the Omni Houston Galleria in Houston, Texas.
Ellen MacNeil recently joined WTAS as head of the National Tax Office. She has over 30 years experience in tax consulting for major U.S. businesses. Prior to joining WTAS she was a partner with Deloitte Tax LLP and with Arthur Andersen in their National tax practices.
