Wylie Co-Author of the USC Gould School of Law 70th Tax Institute Treatise
The University of Southern California Gould School of Law is an elite law school committed to academic excellence. Each year, the law school hosts a tax institute that addresses various topics such as estate planning, corporate tax planning and partnerships and real estate, and compliance and enforcement issues. In addition to the annual tax institute, the school publishes a treatise following and related to the conference occurring the respective year.
The USC Law School Institutes on Major Tax Planning, Volume 70 features Managing Director Timothy Wylie as a co-author along with two other individuals. The chapter that he co-authored primarily concerns estate tax deductions, Sec. 2053 and other related sub-topics such as funeral expenses, administration expenses, and claims against estates.
Tim Wylie is a member of the Andersen Tax Private Client Services practice and works with wealthy families and their related businesses, trusts, private foundations and other entities. Tim assists individuals and multi-generational family groups with income, estate and gift tax planning and compliance, wealth transfer and business succession planning, and charitable giving strategies and structures.
