Zemsky Speaking at PLI Advanced State and Local Tax Program
Practising Law Institute (PLI) is a non-profit continuing legal education organization chartered by the Regents of the University of the State of New York. Each year the organization hosts an “Advanced State and Local Tax” program in various locations throughout the U.S. This year the event will take place in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New York on March 13, 2018. This advanced program led by leading state and local tax experts, will cover the complexities of state and local taxation. Kenneth Zemsky, Andersen Tax Managing Director, will be one of the speakers at the New York event location. His topic of discussion will be on state and local taxation of international businesses and mergers and acquisitions. Other topics include the effects of the federal tax reform legislation and identifying ways to hand difficult issues in audits.

Kenneth Zemsky specializes in multistate corporate and personal income taxes with a concentration in New York State and New York City tax law. He has over 33 years of experience and primarily works with multistate corporate taxpayers with presence in the tri-state area, high net worth individuals, alternative investment funds and owner- operated businesses. Ken also has authored numerous articles that were published in the Journal of Multistate Taxation, State Tax Notes and other industry publications. Before joining Andersen Tax, Ken was a Tax Partner at Arthur Andersen and EY.
