What is your current role?
As a Managing Director within the Valuation Services group, I value closely held businesses, business interests, intangible assets, intellectual property, debt instruments, and derivatives (including stock options and option-embedded securities).
What is your specialty?
I have extensive valuation experience with engagements for a variety of purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, litigation support, strategic planning, and tax planning and reporting.
Describe your career path and why you chose Andersen:
I met the Valuation team at Andersen and immediately decided that they were the people I wanted to work with long term. We have always had a great group of extremely intelligent, hardworking, and friendly people. I was attracted to Andersen’s employees and their culture of encouraging and rewarding hard work. We tend to promote people when they’re ready and, as a result, high performers often receive early promotions.
Prior to joining Andersen, I worked for EY.

Favorite hobby and/or interests outside of the office (ex: sports, travel, music, family, food, art, etc.)?
Outside of the office, I spend most of my time with my family. I also try to make it to the gym whenever possible so that I can stay healthy and keep up with my three young kids.
What do you enjoy most about the specialty/service line you work in?
I enjoy learning about our clients and the industries in which they operate. We work with incredibly interesting companies of all sizes. In valuation, we have the opportunity to see and understand the inner workings of companies across a multitude of industries.
