Andersen Tax Participates in TEI Meeting
Tax Executives Institute (TEI) is the preeminent association of in-house tax professionals worldwide. Members are business executives who are responsible for taxation matters on an administrative or policy-making level, or whose work is otherwise primarily concerned with the challenges of business taxation. TEI members are accountants, lawyers, and other corporate and business employees who are responsible for the tax affairs of their employers in an executive, administrative, or managerial capacity.
The New Jersey Chapter of Tax Executives Institute meeting takes place November 14 in Randolph, NJ. Dennis Minich, Chuck Chubb and Ellen MacNeil will all take part. Dennis will cover compensation issues related to mergers and acquisitions while Chuck and Ellen will present Debt Modifications - Tax Implications for Issuers and Holders.
Chuck Chubb is the Andersen Tax National Practice Leader for ASC 740 Services and has over 30 years of experience advising a broad range of clients on accounting for income taxes and U.S. Federal, State and International tax technical issues.
Dennis Minich has over 38 years of tax experience. Dennis specializes in compensation and employee benefit issues, primarily relating to qualified retirement plans, nonqualified plans, employee health and welfare benefits and executive compensation.
Ellen MacNeil leads the Andersen Tax National Tax Office. She has over 30 years of experience in tax consulting for major U.S. businesses. A member of the board of directors of The Tax Council, she has also served as chair of the ABA Taxation Section’s Tax Accounting Committee and chair of the AICPA’s Tax Accounting Committee. She has chaired the ABA Taxation Section’s Committee on Government Submissions and has also served as a member of the Executive Committee of the AICPA’s Tax Division.
